TRS Print Case Function

Acting on AF members’ feedback, we have enhanced the print function for TRS cases. Now, within TRS, you can ‘Print Case’ in PDF format, maintaining the original document format.  This can be done from two TRS locations. First, on the Worklist, click the vertical ellipses to the left of the case and click ‘Print Case’:

Second, within the case, select ‘Case Actions’ and ‘Print Case’:

These actions give you a clean version of the case. Do not print from your browser toolbar, as that may produce a distorted version.

A PDF copy of the case will be stored in the ‘Print Request’ queue, which you can access by clicking on your name in the upper right=hand corner and selecting ‘Print Requests’:

Access the PDF file by clicking on the icon in the ‘Print File’ column. You can print or save the PDF file:

Enhancements Coming to TRS This Month

Image of a yellow fish swimming against a school of white fishThis month, AF will be releasing enhancements to TRS that were previously introduced in our July 2018 E-Bulletin for TRS:

Accept Policy Limits Post-Decision – Will give recovering parties on a two-party case the ability to quickly accept policy limits if they did not do so when they initially submitted a filing or during a revisit. This option is available for 60 days following the initial decision’s publication date.

Accept Policy Limits Post-Decision in a Multi-Party Case – This enhancement will give recovering parties on a multiple-party case the ability to accept policy limits if they did not do so when they initially submitted a filing or during a revisit. However, all recovering parties must accept policy limits and pro rata share within 60 days of the initial decision’s publication date. When one recovering party selects this option, the other recovering parties will be prompted to confirm their acceptance too. If all recovering parties agree, awards will be calculated based on the initial liability decision and proven damages.

This functionality helps members avoid costly litigation and/or eliminates the need for re-filings.

Migration of TRS Reports Continues This Fall

Image of various report modelsAF continues to migrate reports into the new, more robust reporting platform. This fall, we will be moving some of the TPA reports.  We have also created some additional reports that will allow TPAs to pull the feature published summaries for recovering and responding parties by client and state.

A reports change guide is available to help identify the changes and locate the reports (in the current system or in the new platform).

We are very excited to offer members this new functionality. The new reporting platform has been designed based on member feedback and will ultimately equip our members with more tools to help better manage their recovery and resolution processes.
