Exciting Change Coming to AF Reporting

What's newIn 2018, AF completed the migration of high-volume reports to a new reporting platform. The new reporting platform will allow for more report flexibility and analysis. We are pleased to introduce a new visualization tool for the Open Demands Detail report from the demander perspective. Rather than viewing the information in an Excel document, this tool will allow users to filter and examine the data in a graphic format.

A new metrics dashboard tab will be the added to the current E-Subro Hub report menu. When accessing the dashboard, there will be four visualization charts that will permit a user to view the data in a format that can be refined quickly and consumed efficiently.

Open Demands by Status Chart:
This is the primary chart for the Open Demands Detail report and will include sections for the status of Acceptance Pending, Accepted, Denied, In Negotiation, Issued, Pending, and Settled.
The total number of demands for the current filtering options will be in the center of the chart. The primary filter will be the state of loss and, by default, the system will select all states.

The percentage of demands for each represented status will be visible around the perimeter of the chart.

Clicking on a status section will allow the user to drill into the data quickly and efficiently using the other three charts.

Age of Open Demands Chart:
This chart will break down the demands into four cycle time ranges: zero to 30 days, 31 to 60 days, 61 to 90 days, and 91 plus days.

A bar graph will document the number of demands in the selected status by cycle time range.

Clicking on the bar will allow the user to see the detail of the demands in Excel format.

Demands by Responder Chart:
This chart will break down the demands by volume for the top 20 opposing companies.
A bar graph will document the number of demands in the selected status by opposing company.
Clicking on the bar will allow the user to see the detail of the demands in Excel format.

Demands by State Chart:
This chart will break down the demands by state of loss using a heat map.
The color of the different states will represent the volume of demands in the selected status.
Clicking on a state of loss will allow the user to see the detail of the demands in Excel format.
This new format will allow a member to filter and sort Open Demand Detail data based what is seen in the charts, which is much different than manipulating the same demand list in a single Excel document.

A metrics reference document is available to view.

We will be adding visualization options to other reports in the future.
