Revisions to AF’s Guide for Arbitrators

AF has made the following revisions to the Guide for Arbitrators.
  • Liability and Recovery Arguments: A statement was added to address preponderance of evidence when addressing liability (p. 23).
  • Auto Forum Example (Responding Company Primary Coverage Scenarios – Example 2): Additional detail was added to specify using the repair estimate and/or vehicle photos when assessing damages.
  • Auto Forum Example 7 was added to p. 38 to address scenarios where a responding company’s deductible applies to the vehicle owner’s damages.
