When hearing a case where damages are not disputed, do not simply select “Accept.” You still need to review the evidence to ensure the amount sought is correct. We have seen some cases where entry errors were made and the amount sought is different from the actual amount paid. In the example below, $400 has been claimed for rental, and the adverse party has not disputed the damages. You still need to review the evidence to confirm rental was $400, not a less amount, before selecting “Accept.”
