Revised E-Subro Hub Guidelines Coming February 15, 2016
To ensure E-Subro Hub continues to provide the industry with the most effective solution for the delivery and resolution of subrogation claims, Arbitration Forums, Inc. (AF) has completed an in-depth assessment of the E-Subro Hub member user experience.
Nearly 60 hours of feedback was collected from management and front-line employees from both the recovery side and claims during extensive interviews with the top-15 member companies with the largest E-Subro Hub demand volume.
Overwhelmingly, the interviewed members believe E-Subro Hub industry guidelines are essential and help ensure E-Subro Hub is being used consistently to optimize the subrogation process.
Members offered unanimous support for updating the original guidelines, developed in 2009, to better reflect today's subrogation practices and significant growth in E-Subro Hub demand volume.
Using member feedback, a more comprehensive set of industry guidelines was drafted and subsequently approved by the members who participated in the review. These new guidelines, which will go into effect February 15, 2016, are expected to improve the E-Subro Hub member experience through more consistent E-Subro Hub demand issuance and inbound demand management practices.
To improve industry adherence to these new guidelines, an E-Subro Hub executive sponsor role was introduced to the top-15 companies. Designated executive sponsors will be made aware of guideline concerns within their own organizations, providing them an opportunity to address the issue and bring their company back within guideline compliance. All members are encouraged to adopt an executive sponsor. If you would like to know more about the role, please contact Sean Rickert at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Interview feedback was also used to produce a set of AF-Recommended E-Subro Hub Best Practices. Any of these best practices can be adopted at a member's discretion if it believes the practice will improve its E-Subro Hub workflows.
With new industry-supported guidelines, the addition of a new executive sponsor role, and a set of new E-Subro Hub Best Practices, more optimal use of the E-Subro Hub system is anticipated in 2016.
